Large Fossilized Clams and Corrals at Las Terrazas
The highest point in Las Terrazas has an elevation of 161m above sea level. These large fossilized clams and corrals are a few of the many sea treasures unearthed in Las Terrazas during the start if its land development. This is proof that at a certain point in our history, this mountain was below sea level! Truly a remarkable geological find! These Large Fossilized Clams and Corrals that can be seen at Las Terrazas Club House in Davao City.
This photo is my entry for the Smart iPhone 6S contest on Instagram which is exclusive for Davao Bloggers only... :)

Mangosteen
It took me a while to understand what "midya" means (so slow of me, lol). At first, I thought it was another variety of Mangosteen, like the fruit Rambutan had a "maharlika" variety, or the Durian which has a lot of variety like native, puyat, arancillo, etc. :)
What "midya" means is "half" in Visayan language. But it was spelled wrong and I got confused, it should be spelled "medya" and Mangosteen was misspelled too. Anyways, Mangosteen is just among the fruits which can be seen almost everywhere in Davao City, especially during the Kadayawan Festival where there are bountiful harvest of different kindss of fruits.

Mga bundok, dagat, lupain
laging sagana sa pagkain
At ang magagandang tanawin
Kadluan ng aliw
Mutyang Lungsod ng Dabaw

Sa mithing kaunlaran
Ikaw ay paglilingkuran.
